In the mid-1960s, running shoes were still scarce, and track athletes wanted sneakers they could use for their daily training. That was when Karhu developed the Trampas.
Universal Works has put a spin on history: Karhu's iconic M logo has been used everywhere, but inverted as a nod to the "W" in Universal Works. Its origin lies in the word "Mestari," the Finnish word for champion.
